Method

  1. Preparation

Cut the pumpkin, remove the skin. Be careful: this squash isn't hard, but it 'sweats' when cut, and becomes highly slippery. Major finger cut risk. Pumpkin should be cut in moderate sized cubes.
Cut the potatoes in the same manner.
Cut the garlic into small cubes.
    Cut onions into large cubes/pieces.

  2. Frying

Do everything in a pot, not a pan. Add 2 hefty table spoons of true butter.
Fry the onions for 10 minutes. At minute 8 mark, add the garlic as well.
Then add the pumpkin and potatoes, add the broth, salt and pepper. Cover the pot, and boil for 20 minutes.

  3. Finalising

Add śmietanka 30% and the curcuma/curry. Stir it all, lead to boiling, then turn the fire off.
The resulting soup is ready to eat as is. It can be blended.
What I recommend, is steaming chicken filet, adding that to bowls, then pouring the soup on it.
    Add a lemon juice.

Cooking notes & variations

Lemon is what gives it all flavour. I add hefty portions.
