2018 Tian Shan travel: Part 4

Commentary from 2020

The post below was a gallery still from Poland – from the capital city of Warsaw, in time between my arrival there from my home city and boarding the plane that would take me to Astana, capital of Kazakhstan. Warsaw is where my sister lives and works, and so we met for some good old borscht and goulash on potato pancakes that we call a Hungarian pie (read my post about that meal).

Notice the amber shop. About amber I plan to soon write another post. Amber was gold of Poland and other countries that were present on its territories, and to this day it is a commercial curiosity.

That pink soup – I do not remember exactly what it was. It might have been borscht, although it looks more like chłodnik.
