Seal playing in the water, Wrocław "Afrykarium" zoo
It was my first time in Wrocław, a major city with rich German history in south-eastern Poland, somewhat remote from my spot in the north. Several times I made the transit through it, on my way to Karpacz mountains further south for instance, but it was the first time I could focus on the city itself.
Main point of the trip wasn’t the city itself. It was the famed Afrykarium zoo, with a large aquarium.
Many sing praises of its beauty. In my opinion, it is not above other nice places in Poland such as Gdańsk, Elbląg, Toruń, Kraków or Lublin. But it certainly is a nice city.
