This is Shymbulak or Shimbulak (in modern Kazakh, “Şymbūlaq Ski Resort”) – ski resort close to the city of Almaty in southern Kazakhstan, on 2200 metres above sea level. This ski resort has a cable car that reaches farther up: Kombi-1 which goes to 2750 metres, where a hotel is located, and Kombi-2 at 3200 metres.
